United Pacific Industries (UPI), the Australian distributor of Sleep Doctor™, is a proud member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO). APCO is a not-for-profit organisation that brings together businesses, government and industry to drive more sustainable packaging outcomes across Australia. 

Through our membership, we support the goals of the Australian Packaging Covenant, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of packaging and move towards a more circular economy. 

As part of our ongoing sustainability journey, Sleep Doctor is committed to: 

• Using packaging that is fit for purpose and designed to minimise unnecessary material use 
• Increasing the use of recyclable and responsibly sourced materials where possible 
• Working with suppliers to continuously improve packaging design and efficiency 
• Providing clearer recycling information to help consumers dispose of packaging correctly 
• Reviewing and improving our packaging practices in line with APCO guidelines and targets 

You may notice our packaging displaying the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL). What is the ARL? 

• The Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) is an on-pack label that helps consumers to recycle right. 
• The ARL explains if packaging belongs in the waste bin, the kerbside recycling, or can be recycled by following a simple instruction. It also shows how to recycle all parts of the packaging, like the lid or tray.  
• The ARL is Australia’s only evidence-based recycling label, is trusted by hundreds of businesses around Australia, and appears on more than 500,000 products.  
•  It’s also supported by Australian governments to make recycling easier.
